2012-2013 Coaching Staff

Heather Devoe - Assistant Coach
Heather starts her 16th year as a swimming coach in Edmond. She swam at Memorial High School and currently teaches English at Central Middle School.

Erin Devoe - Assistant Coach
Erin is starting her 6th year coaching swimming in Edmond. She swam at Memorial High School and Drury College. Erin teaches Spanish at North High School, and "Yes" she is Heather's sister.

Jonthan England - this is Jonathan's First year as a coach with the Edmond teams. Jonathan swam in Moore under former Edmond swimmer and Memorial school record holder Joel Jackson..He teaches at Summit Middle School.

Elise King - Assistant Coach
Elise begins year five as an assistant coach. She was one of the fastest swimmers ever at North High School. She graduated from UCO and is now teaching at Westfield Elementary.

Steve Riggs - Head Coach
Steve is starting year 36 as the Edmond head coach.  He was an Honorable Mention High School All-American, and a senior national qualifier in the 200 meter butterfly.  He was a junior college National Champion and 3-time All-American before earning All Big 8 honors at OSU a long time ago.  Steve was named National Federation Girls National Swimming Coach of the Year in 2003.  In July 2007, he was inducted into the Oklahoma Coaches Hall of Fame.  Steve is married to Gerre, and has two children - Crista who is 19 and Sara who is 16.  Steve teaches P.E. and Health at Cross Timbers Elementary School.
