Oklahoma’s technical training system is considered to be one of the best in the nation. In most states, technical training is under the technical and community college umbrella through higher education and receives fewer dollars than Oklahoma’s Centers. Because funding in Oklahoma is set up so that shared resources can be provided to both secondary and higher education schools within a specific area. Technical Centers afford state-of-the-art equipment and facilities for our students. Francis Tuttle is known as one of the premier technology centers in the United States. Accredited by the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education , they provide over 30 career-track programs in four career areas (minimum age: 16). College credit (Associate's degree) is available through Oklahoma City Community College and Oklahoma State University - Oklahoma City. They also offer around 250 different fast-track classes.
