Edmond Public Schools recognizes the distinct advantages Internet-based instruction can offer students by expanding course offerings, for recovery of credit, or in certain cases, to fulfill graduation requirements. This type of course work should not be viewed as a means of substituting direct face-to-face instruction but as a means of expanding the ability of Edmond Public Schools to enable students to succeed in a changing society.
To insure the quality of our instructional program, Edmond Public Schools evaluates the rigor of each course or program carefully before agreeing to grant a student credit for coursework. For that reason, our list of approved on-line schools is very limited.
