Welcome to the Edmond Public Schools! Over the past thirty-six years, Edmond Schools has experienced substantial growth. From a 1970 population of about 4,000 students, we have grown to become the state’s fourth largest public school district and now serve more than 20,300 students. The school district is part of a growing and vibrant community that recognizes the value of education and works in partnership with us to promote excellence—in terms of both academic and inter-scholastic opportunities afforded our children.
If you have a child who attends one of our small open enrollment elementary schools of about 250 students or a high school of more than 2,000 students, the goal is consistent. We will strive to ensure that all students are afforded challenging and relevant-to-life learning opportunities within environments that nurture healthy academic, social and emotional growth.
Whether a current resident of the district, considering relocating to the area, or just browsing out of curiosity—this Website has been designed to provide you with information about Edmond Public Schools, such as attendance boundaries, enrollment procedures, school year calendars, employment information, and Board policies. Also provided are links to educational services, individual school sites’ EPS Web pages, education-related agencies and sites that provide information about the Edmond area.
Finally, as Edmond Public Schools personnel seek to serve the children of our community, I pledge to you our commitment to provide courteous and professional services that advance our mission of empowering all students to succeed in a changing society.
Please don’t hesitate to contact our offices if we may be of assistance.
