Any student with missing books or obligations will not be able to attend the Faculty Volleyball Game nor the talent show(s) until all books have been returned or paid.  Students will bring their books to the scanner and will be told what books or CD's they are missing. If a student who has obligations purchases a wristband to attend the activities, there will be NO refunds.  Student who return books after the scheduled time(s) must return them personally to Mrs. Andrus in the library or Dr. Harsha in the office. Report cards and Fall schedules will be held until all obligations are met.

The State Department would like us all to participate in a School Climate Survey. Dr. Goin has detailed this survey and asks teachers, parents, and our students to take the survey.

Please read the PDF file and help us participate in this effort.

Welcome to Sequoyah Middle School

Our goal is to assist students to make a positive transition from the elementary school, through middle school, and into high school.  During the "middle school" years, the teaching staff will provide educational experieinces that will emphasize basic skills in an environment structured to maximize learning.

In addition to academic endeavors, students will have opportunities to make new friends and participate in a variety of age-appropriate activities.

It is our hope that all students will become involved positively in our school and in its activities.  It is also our desire that students will take pride in the school and promote positive feelings.

Take pride in being a "Sequoyah Middle School Cougar."

Be sure to look at the Team and Individual web pages for your teachers. Web pages will be updated on a regular basis with assignments, homework, tests, and other important dates and information. Pages are found under the Sequoyah Teacher Websites heading.
