| West Field students submitted suggestions for the new mascot. Wildcats received an incredible percent of the votes! | |
| Students voted for a suitable name for our new West Field Wildcat mascot. "Ace" was the overwhelming winner. "Ace" is in reference to wild-catter Ace Gutowski. Gutowski speculated fro oil by using an innovative method of a “doodle bug” attached to a gold chain hanging from a goat-skinned bottle, to search for oil. Gutowski selected the property that our school sits upon for the first drilling effort. |
