On Central’s website is a copy of our school’s 2008 Oklahoma district Accountability Data Report.  This report is to provide you with information of how our school is doing in meeting the requirements of the federal law, No Child Left Behind (NCLB).  We are proud of the accomplishments of our students and applaud our staff for their dedicated efforts that support student learning.

 

Our schools’ Academic Performance Index for regular education students is 1369.  Scores are also provided for subgroups that include English Language Learners (ELL) and for students who are served by an Individual Education Plan (IEP).  Below these headings are the scores of all student subgroups as required by the federal legislation.

 

The state performance target for mathematics is 932.  The state performance target for reading is 914.  As you review the scores for the various subgroups of our school, you will note that our scores exceed the state targets in every area except ELL (English Language Learners).  API scores are reported on a scale of 1-1500.

 

We are pleased that our school made “Adequate Yearly” progress as defined by NCLB.  We will continue to work diligently to implement the provisions of the No Child Left Behind legislation and to realize our mission of ensuring that each and every child is academically successful.
