The 2002-2003 Teacher of the Year for Central Middle School was Colonel Leonard Scott. 

The Colonel has been teaching at Central for six years.  He teaches Enrichment and Issues and Answers.  Before becoming a teacher, he served in the United States Army for twenty-eight years.  He is also a published author.  You can find a book by him at your local bookstore; just look for Leonard B. Scott, our teacher of the year.
