CENTRAL'S SPIRIT WEEK

From January 30th-February 3rd Central Middle School participated in its annual Spirit Week.  Spirit Week is a week designated for activities which will help raise money for charities each of the 3 Edmond High Schools have chosen to adopt.  This year Santa Fe's charity is the Brain Tumor Institute, Edmond North's is the Childrens' Center in Bethany, and Memorial's charity is Hearts for the Hearing.  Central did its' best as usual and raised $8,038 which will be divided among the three charities.  Each day of the week had a different theme ending the festivities with a charity basketball game, 8th Grade boys and girls against the Central Middle School staff.  Once again, the Central Staff won.  Central also had a special speaker show up, former Central Middle School student-now turned strong safety for the OU football team, talked about keys to success and right decisions.
