Group 4:  Gifts from the Buffalo

The Cheyenne quickly adapted to their life on the plains.  They hunted the larger game that roamed the area and became increasingly dependent on the buffalo.  Your group will find information about several of the important gifts the buffalo gave to the Cheyenne people and other important foods and items they used.

TASK:  Your task is to gather information about the Cheyenne's use of the buffalo.   From the information you gather from your book,  you will create a presentation with the following slides.  Use the same titles as are listed on the slides.

Gather your facts from this book.   Decide what the most important facts are, and write them on your storyboard.  Use the Glossary to look up any unfamiliar words.  Your classroom teacher must approve your storyboard before you proceed to the next step. Once you have your terms and your text written in your storyboard, you can find pictures.
