I have been telling my students the saying above for the past seventeen years and I still believe that the words are true.  Helping children work hard toward achieving their dreams is a passion of mine.  I truly love coming to school every day.

I started my teaching career at Summit Middle School then I taught 6th and 7th grade at Guthrie. I love being back at Edmond, especially here at Cheyenne.  The environment of this school is very conducive to learning and I think it is awesome that I am actually getting paid to do what I do!

I do have a life outside of school, though.  I married my high school sweetheart and we are enjoying our 32nd year together.  I have three daughters, three son-in-laws, two grandsons (ask and I will show pictures!!) and three dogs.  My husband and I like to tool around in our recently restored 1967 Mustang or tear through town on our Harleys.  I ride an '09 Dyna Low Rider and it is the coolest.  I enjoy more sedate activities also, like reading and gardening.
