My name is Rebecca Sutter.  I am delighted to be teaching the sixth grade class Reading Writing Workshop (RWW) at Cheyenne! My husband, Steve, and I are originally from California. We both graduated from Brigham Young University, and spent several years traveling with the Air Force. We have lived in Mississippi, Texas, Nevada and California.  We have five children and feel blessed that three of them have been students at Cheyenne.

Our oldest son, Chris, and his wife Teresa live in Ohio where he is pursuing a doctorate degree in international business. They have a two year old daughter with blond curly hair.  Emily is our second daughter is married to Bryce.  They have an 18 month old named Isabel. Emily has taught Spanish at Central Middle School. Carrie and Matt, our next two children are both students at UCO. Last but not least, our daughter, Stephanie, is a 9th grader at North High School.

This is my fourth year at Cheyenne. I am working a master’s degree in reading. I am passionate about teaching, reading, and learning. I love to travel whenever I get the chance, and I love spending time with my family.  I strive to live the mission statement at Cheyenne “Learning for all.” I find joy in teaching and learning with my students each day!
