6th Grade Units of Study

About Us Power point -- The students will use PPT to communicate effectively with their audience about themselves.  They will use pictures, clip art, music, and various sounds to achieve their objective.

Digital Storytelling using Photo Story 3  -- The students will tell the life story of Martin Luther King Jr. using Photo Story 3.  They will research, select photographs, quotes, music, and write a script to tell about his life and major accomplishments.  They will narrate their story to music and pictures allowing the viewers to watch their digital presentation of his life. 

Cheyenne Infomercial Presentation -- The students will work together to create a  presentation using windows movie maker about Cheyenne.  They will take pictures of various events happening during the day at Cheyenne and arrange them in their presentation. They may choose to use text, charts, graphs, music, clip art, or anything that helps to provide insight into the life of a student at Cheyenne Middle School.

Adobe Lessons -- In these lessons students will learn to manipulate still images using Adobe Photo Shop Elements and edit videos using Adobe Premier.
