Personal Development
is a course of study that addresses issues at a level to which sixth graders can relate. Personal, family, and social skills are addressed. Time and resource management and consumer skills are reinforced. Wardrobe planning and grooming skills are related to self-concept development. After school hours survival skills are addressed. Career exploration and basic academic skills are emphasized in every unit.

6th (Personal Development)
Wednesday-
Watch a demonstration of the Smoothie Lab and then complete grocery orders for their labs on Thursday and Friday.
Thursday- Friday
Lab and Classroom activities. The students will be split into two groups and one group prepares lab and the other complete kitchen safety project.
