We Have

GREAT EXPECTATIONS

Each day starts at Chisholm with morning announcements.  Students volunteer to lead the school in the U.S. pledge, the Oklahoma pledge and the school motto, the word of the week and the weekly quote.  The school practices the word of the week (WOW) and a quote that supports the word.  Teachers use the word daily in class to help reinforce the word.

The basic tenets of Great Expectations are:

  • All Children Can Learn
  • Climate of Mutual Respect
  • Building Self-Esteem
  • Teacher Attitude and Responsibility
  • High Expectations
  • Teacher Knowledge and Skills

“Gotcha”

Mrs. Graham with CJ and our

 Principal for a Day,

Mr. Rex Boatright.

Mrs. Horn and Mrs. Hickman are all smiles for our Storybook Parade.

Kindergarten and Pre-K teachers show off their storybooks.

Tracy captures student’s attention as she reads to Ms. Horn and Mrs. Hickman’s 4th graders.

Who’s next on her reading itinerary?

“Vote for new library books…” Really, Mrs. Bock and Mrs. Huffaker, our librarians, just love dressing up for Christmas

Mrs. Ramer gets a hug from Chargie and CJ on Valentine’s Day.

Mrs. Vermillion thanks Chargie for her Chargie-grams.
