ELECTIVE
FAMILY AND CONSUMER SCIENCE
As we begin our second semester of this school year I look forward to meeting my new students. We will begin with a brief unit on personality and factors that shape our personalities and make each of us unique. Following this discussion we will work on improving our communication skills. As we enter the third week of the semester we should be ready to begin our food and nutrition unit. This will begin with identifying basic kitchen equipment and much discussion about working in the kitchen safely. This work will lead us to our kitchens where we will create a variety of great tasting, nutritious dishes.
