Frog and Toad Fan Club

Dear Parents of Second Graders:

I would like to introduce you to a special project we do with all of our second grade students, the FROG AND TOAD FAN CLUB! Harper Publishing company furnishes Frog and Toad Fan Club membership cards, and your child can earn one by reading all four books with the two loveable characters, "Frog and Toad". All four titles, which are listed below are written by Arnold Lobel and appeal to readers, young and old.

In class we have seen a filmstrip about Arnold Lobel and learned about his life and his award-winning work. To become a certified member your child must READ ALL FOUR BOOKS ALOUD TO YOU! Even if your child has read any of these books prior, please have him/her read them aloud to you again. Sign your name in each of the four places designated for you and have your child return this completed sheet to their teacher. There will be a "celebration of reading" at the end of the program where all will receive their membership cards.

This reading project will last until September 20th and all forms will be due by then. "HOPPY READING" with your child.
