The mission of the John Ross Media Center 

is to ensure that students and staff are 

effective users of ideas and information.

It is also our goal to prepare students 

for life-long learning,informed decision-

making, a love for reading, and the use of 

technology.

The John Ross Media Center is open Monday 

through Friday during the regular school 

day. Students may come to the library media 

center at anytime, however, they must be 

accompanied by a parent before or after 

school hours.

Borrowing privileges are extended to all

members of the John Ross learning 

community.  This includes students, 

teachers, staff, student teachers, and parents.  

While the circulation period is limited, 

the library media center is flexible and 

will extend the time an item may be checked 

out to meet the individual needs of our 

patrons as well as support classroom

curriculum.
