Today's Announcements

• Congratulations to Phadra Fouts and Summer Wray for making the 2013 Oklahoma All State cheer Squad. Both igrls will get to cheer at the Oklahoma All-State games in July. Way to go girls! 
• English teachers should have passed out a yearbook information sheet. You may purchase a yearbook online or call Josten's. The deadline to order your yearbook online is February 1st. 
• Seniors, you will have an extension to submit your salute, now due November 30, 2012. Please see Mrs. Killackey ASAP to turn in a late senior salute. 
• Seniors, forget to order a class of 2013 t-shirt? It is not too late! See Mrs. Nieves in room 213 by Thursday, November 13, 2012, if you would like one. 
• Attention Students, Advisors, Teachers, Anyone: Those of you that love taking photos and want those photos captured in the yearbook, download the REPLAYIT app. Join the Edmond Memorial group and help your school make memories. 
• The first mandatory Royalty meeting has been changed to Monday, November 19, 2012, in the main gym during closed tutorial. Teachers will receive a list of the students from Mr. DeLozier. 
• EMHS Winter Sports sign up for the EMHS school connect APP to keep up to date with all of your sporting events!
• Get Ready! MUSICAL AUDITIONS Sign-Ups will begin on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 and end Tuesday, November 20, 2012. See Ms. Martin for details about music and monologues. This year's musical will be Rodgers' and Hammerstein's South Pacific.  
• Freshmen Can with One Can Campaign - continues till November 14, 2012. Remember the winning 2nd hour will get a party!
• Follies Auditions are Monday, November 11 through Thursday, November 15, 2012. The list is outside the choir room. Double check your audition time. Check in backstage 15 minutes before your scheduled audition time. Bring your parent permission page and your Act Information sheet with you (if you haven't already turned it in to Ms. Smith). 
• Penny Wars - Bring your pennies to second hour, money collected will be donated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to help fight childhoodd cancer. The winning class will receive a free pasta, salad and breadstick party from Olive Garden. Mrs. Wilson won this last year, which means that this competition is WIDE OPEN!
• Guitar club will hold an open jam session this Thursday, in the orchestra room from 2:30 to 4:00pm. During the day, players can leave their instruments in Mr. Stuart's room, 406. 

From the Counseling Office ….

• Are you about to get your driving permit? Sign up for your letter of "reading proficiency and enrollment" in the Counseling Office, you must sign up 24 hours in advance!
• Seniors - Need money for college? If have between a 3.25 and 3.79 GPA come to the Counseling Office to pick up the Oklahoma City Community Foundation Scholarship. This scholarship is a tuition waiver for $1,500! Three Edmond Memorial seniors will be awarded one of these scholarships. Don't miss out! Many of you qualify for this scholarship. No required ACT score! Deadline is November 28. 
• Juniors - February 22-24, OU will host a Leadership Conference on their campus just for JUNIORS! If you are interested, you must apply now! Space is limited and spots are going fast! To apply go to www.ou.edu/hslc.

• Youth Leadership Oklahoma application are now available. Only high school juniors are eligible. Deadline is Tuesday, December 4, 2012.
