2. To change Teachers a student does not like; unless previous experience with a sibling and the same teacher can be documented;in this case, every effort will be made to accomodate a change if possible.
3. To get into a class that a friend is enrolled in; A legitimate reason must exist for the change.

REPEATED COURSES WILL RECEIVE NO CREDIT TOWARDS GRADUATION

WEEK 1 - schedule changes will be made for students with abnormal schedules; i.e 3 math classes or no English in their schedule, open periods, repeated courses or level changes from Pre-AP to regular or from regular to Pre-AP.

Following week 3, Schedule Changes must go through the Principal for Curriculim and Instruction. This process involves the student writing a formal letter explaining in detail why the change would increase the opportunity for an equal and appropriate education. This class change form can be downloaded here.

Limiting factors for schedule changes include teacher class size, teacher student load, hours offered, student credits, and other factors as determined by the master schedule and student graduation requirements.

Student may also be ineligible for 3 weeks if a schedule change is granted after the 3rd week. This may adversely effect the extracurricular activity the student is currently participating in.

Make up work must be considered when moving classes following the 3 week deadline. For credit to be offered, work must be made up at the discretion of the new teacher.

AFTER 3 WEEKS, SCHEDULE CHANGES ARE HIGHLY DISCOURAGED
