Taylor Morris, from Barrage, spent a morning with us recently working with students on how they can better perform together by watching and listening.  And the students got the opportunity to perform with him.  Great experience.

The students did a fabulous job on the Winter concert and the Carol Concert at Mercy Rehab Center was Awesome!!!  Thank you to the many students who participated.

Congratulations to the nine Santa Fe Orchestra members who were selected to the All-State Orchestra!!!

Many thanks to those who cooked, set-up, cleaned and supported us at the Italian Dinner - with your help we were able to raise $1400.00 for expenses throughout the year.

The North Central Honor Orchestra Clinic and Concert was held at Oklahoma City University on November 16 and 17th.  Congratulations to the NCHO students for an AWESOME concert.

Recently we were entertained during our classes by Kyle Dillingham, a local violinist/fiddler.  The students had a great time playing along with him, he was very encouraging.

The three Edmond High Schools combined our Orchestra classes during the afternoon of October 23 to hear a presentation by Time for Three (Tf3).  It was an incredible opportunity for the students (and teachers too) and was very inspirational.  View their anti bully video on YouTube, very powerful message.

OMEA Concert

The Santa Fe Symphony Orchestra performed for the Oklahoma Music Educator's Association Convention on Friday, January 18.  The students presentation was SPECTACULAR.  All of their hard work really paid off in a performance that will be a lifetime memory for the performers and the listeners.

Thank you thank you and again thank you to all of the parents who contributed to our performance in Tulsa.  We had several financial contributions that allowed us to afford the trip.  And the parents who jumped in and helped chaperone and feed the students while we were there - we could not have done it without you.  And to Mrs. Moore who went above and beyond for us - words cannot express our appreciation.

Congratulations!!!!
