·          Seniors! Ottawa University Presidential Scholars Scholarship Competition.  Requirements: GPA 3.5 +, ACT 25 or SAT of 1130-1200, and rank in the top 1/3 of your class. You must attend Ottawa University. Deadline is January 28th. For more information and/or a recommendation form, come by the Counseling Office.

·          Seniors!  Connors State College (Warner, OK) Cowboy Round-Up Friday – Senior Day!, Feb. 8th, from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm. Come by the Counseling Office for a flyer.

·          Seniors! OSU Get admitted now! Wednesday, January 30th from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at OSU-OKC’s Conference Room South in the Student Center.  Planning to attend OSU, bring your application, application fee, official transcript and get on the spot admittance.

·          Seniors! College Horizons A Pre-College Workshop for Native American Students  is being held at Duke University, June 14-18 and Lawrence University, June 28 – July 2. ·          Juniors!  Get an early start on the financial aid process for college with “FAFSA4caster”.  This is an interactive online service from the U.S. Dept. of Education where students can receive an early estimate of eligibility for federal student aid along with the various types of aid available. ·          Seniors! The School of Visual Arts (New York, NY) invites applications to the Silas H. Rhodes Scholarship Program. ·          Seniors! University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music and Dance – Audition Dates 2007-2008. ·          Seniors!  Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps. (NROTC). A 4-year scholarship up to $180,000. Online applications are available at www.nrotc.navy.mil. Deadline is April, 2008.

·          Juniors & Seniors! OSU Okmulgee 12th Annual Advancing Technology Showcase, Thurs. April 3rd, 10 am to 2 pm. For more information, contact James W. Byrd 918-293-4940.

·          Seniors! AnyCollege.com. Scholarships of $2,000 are given 4 times per year.  Go to www.anycollege.com and click on “Win a Scholarship!.  Deadlines are March 31st, and June 30th.

·          Freshmen & Sophomores! Ayn Rand Anthem essay contest.  Cash prizes will be awarded at various levels of competition.  Essay must be postmarked no later than March 20, 2008.  Please come by the Counseling Office for more information.

·          Juniors! The Edmond Elks Junior of the Month program will run from October, 2007 thru March, 2008. One Junior will be selected each month and will receive a $100 bond and becomes eligible to become the Junior of the Year. Come by the Counseling Office for your application.  The Elks will pick up applications during the first week of each month beginning in November.

·          Juniors!  Now is the time to start applying for the NROTC scholarship until April 2008.  The application process starts online at www.nrotc.navy.mil/application/default.cfm. More information is available in the Counseling Office.

·          Seniors! SMU Hunt Leadership Scholarship Program. For more information about this full tuition and fees, you can visit SMU’s website at www.smu.edu/hunt or come by the Counseling Office.
