Here are some additional reference/research sites you can use to find information via the Internet.  You can use these resources together with the online databases too.

WEBSITES

CIA World Factbook:  Lots of excellent information about the countries of the world, including maps, etc.  A good resource for country reports/research.

Library of Congress: A great website with links to lots of neat stuff, including  federal government agencies, etc.

Infoplease  Has information from an encyclopedia, dictionary, atlas, almanac, etc.  so you can access lots of facts and statistics

World Atlas:   Information about countries, maps, good links to related sites.

Refdesk   Lots of information sources in one place you can access

FactMonster  Has a dictionary, almanac, poople, news, games, homework help, etc.

Metropolitan Library System (includes Edmond Public Library):  You can connect to the Public Library via Cybermars to look for materials (and if you have a public library card, you can  put materials on reserve for you to checkout later). You can also look for newspaper and magazine articles.
