We have 18,000+ items available for use by students and staff. Students come to the Media Center with their entire class or on individual passes to check out books and work on reference/research activities, lessons, and computer projects.There are many neat fiction &  non-fiction titles available for check-out & we encourage everyone to read for pleasure as well as information.  Students can  participate in our state's Sequoyah  Young Adult Award program (for grades 6-8) , voting for their favorite masterlist book in March. You can use our LAN of 40 desktop computers too.  Our remodeling project, which started June 1st, 2009, is now finished! (I've posted photos of the summer construction and our re-construction in the  Photo Album on the "About Sequoyah" webpage). As soon as we receive a few more back-ordered items, we will post new pictures of our beautiful new Media Center!     Mrs. H. :)
