I have been teaching at Sequoyah Middle School since 1984. I previously taught in Kansas, Texas, and Tennessee. Teaching English has been a passion of mine for years, especially involving students in the writing process. After receiving my Masters in Reading and acquiring my Reading Specialist's Certification, instilling the love of reading  has also taken priority in my goals for my students. I believe that it is my niche in life to be with middle schoolers ... encouraging them to be the best that they can be ... to never quit on life. I have two daughters,  Shari and Lindsy, who live in Edmond...and two grandchildren, Anna Mei and Tate, who keep me quite busy. I love every minute of it!
