Here is a little information about me:
I grew up in Laramie, Wyoming, where I graduated high school. I then attended OU (Go Sooners!) for 2 years, but ended up graduating from New Mexico State University (Go Aggies!).
I have lived in Norman, Las Cruces,NM, Albuquerque, NM, Denver, CO, Chicago,IL and Edmond. My favorite place of all of these is definitely Edmond, with Denver and Chicago coming in a close 2nd!
This is my 6th year of teaching, and 4th year at Sequoyah. I have 2 children who make me laugh and smile everyday, and constantly remind me how much I love being their mom!
My daughter, Allison, is 18 and my son, Sam, will soon be 15. Both of my kids are freshmen this year. My daughter is a freshman at OSU and my son is a freshman at Edmond North High School.
I feel that as a teacher, it is my calling to instill in my students the knowledge that they have the power to achieve their dreams in life through determination, dedication, and a belief in themselves.
