Summit Student Socials
2012-2013 Grade-Level Social Chairpersons:
6th Grade: Jeni Lohr
7th Grade: Danette Mondalek 250-0430
6th and 7th grade students (who have turned in permission slips and entry fees) attending their individual Socials will stay at Summit after school until the Social begins. School dress code will be enforced by Summit administrators and staff at all student Socials.
8th Grade: (Chairperson needed.)
Each spring, Summit students enjoy a student Social. Each grade level has its own Social, and requires a chairperson. The Social chairperson coordinates volunteers who will:
- Set up and clean up before and after the Social
- Donate refreshments to be served during the Social (lemonade, cookies, brownies, etc.), as well as paper goods and cups
- Serve refreshments
- Chaperone (this is an awesome way for parents to endear themselves to their children....)
- Donate $5-$10 gift cards (iTunes, Target, Amazon, etc.) to be given out as door prizes during the Social
The chairperson will also need to secure a DJ for the Social. The names of DJ's used in the past are on file with the Parent Club.
The students really look forward to the Socials! They're a fun opportunity to dance, laugh, and be silly. Please consider helping out!
