Summit Middle School Information Day
Information Day 2013 will be from 12:00 PM-6:00 PM on Monday, August 12th.
Information Day (which falls just before the school year begins) is the day students are given their schedules for the new school year. Parent Club has only a portion of the stops on Information Day; Summit staff, Edmond Public Schools Transportation and Child Nutrition will also have stations where parents:
- Verify residency (using a July or August gas, water, or electricity bill). This is a mandatory first step.
- Find out bus numbers and bus route information (optional)
- Set up and make payments into student lunch accounts (optional)
- Purchase student agendas* and Spirit items from Parent Club *(Student agendas are mandatory for all 6th graders.)
7th and 8th grade students will also receive their textbooks and locker assignments on Information Day.
Parent Club needs the help of many volunteers in order to make our portion Information Day a successful, smoothly-run event. Shifts are available in 30-minute to one-hour increments.
