DRAMA!

This information is for all my classes: 8th grade

 drama, 7th grade Int.Arts (music theatre),7th  grade films class and 6th grade

Final Performance times:

1st hour: "Alladdin": Cast A Wed. the 15th morning 8:00

Cast B: afternoon 1:15 

Hour 2: 8th grade drama: "Alice in Wonderland"  Mon. the 20th, 9:00

Hour 3: 7th grade drama: "Alice in Wonderland" Tuesday the 14th at 9:55

Hour 4 films class: final shooting day: Friday the 16th, editing day the 20th

Hours 7 and 8: 6th grade drama: "Cinderella Goes to the Science Fair" Mon. the 20th 7th hour: 1:15, 8th hour: 2:10

                    This information is for all my classes: 

  Materials:pen/pencil everyday, a notebook (3 rings or 3 brad is required), paper--and a box of kleenex would be appreciated.  An agenda is not expected, but we will keep track of assignments in their notebook. I will also post big dates here.

Notebooks:  They will need a 3 ring or 3 brad notebook with paper. We will organized  the notebook in class  for a grade. 6th graders only get to leave their notebook in the drama room. Everyone is responsible for their own notebook.

Tardy Policy: (per 9 weeks) 1st and 2nd: warning, 3rd: Lunch detention with teacher, 4th: Lunch detention with teacher and call home, 5th: referral

Grading: Electives are using a grading scale of 60/40. The "60" is tests, dress rehearsal,memorization tests and performances. The "40" is used for dailywork.

Behavior Expectations: 1-do not interfere with the learning of anyone, including yourself. 

          2-Have your  materials everyday and be in your seat at the beginning of class. 2 tardies gets a lunch detention with me.

 3-Be positive when discussing other's performances

Consequences: 1-verbal warning 2-change in seating or group 3-call to parent 4-lunch detention with me.

Information:

1-Missing a dress rehearsal may cause the student to lose their part. They may be given an alternative assignment. Students who miss a performance will be given an alternative assignment. Students who miss a test will take it upon their return.

2-Costumes: dates of dress rehearsals and performances will be listed here, and a form is sent home with the student at least a week in advance. I provide most of the costume, but the student is given a list of items to bring in a labeled sack. They are responsible for bringing these items. If the list causes a hardship, let me in plenty of time, and I can work with you.

3-I will keep labeled bags with costumes for 1 week. I will put them in lost and found after that.
