APRIL  MEETING!!!

The next FCCLA meeting will be Friday, April 16, at the Cox Convention Center, from 7:30 am until 2:00pm. 

The FCCLA state convention will be held Friday, April 16, at the Cox Center in OKC.  We will meet in front of the bus loop at 7:30 am, and will be back by 2:00pm, in time for the the buses.  We will eat lunch at Spaghetti Warehouse--there is no charge for students.

Please dress nicely for the convention (no jeans or flip flops). 

FCCLA night at Frontier City is also Friday, April 16.  Hours are 5pm-10pm.  We will meet outside Frontier City at 5pm.  Parents must provide transportation both ways.

OFFICER ELECTIONS!!  If you desire to run for an FCCLA office, stop by room 129 to pick up an application.  Applications are due to Mrs. Moore by April 15.  

 

MAY MEETING

End of the year pizza party on Thurs, May 13, from 2:30-3:30 in room 129.  Officer elections for the 2010-2011 year will be held at this time.  

          

Memorize the FCCLA creed, and get a prize! 

Family,Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA)

This club is open to every student at Summit who has taken or is currently taking a class in Family and Consumer Sciences.  The club meets once a month, after school, in the FACS room (129).  Dues are $20 for each student.  Club activities include community service, leadership activities, competitive events, fund raising, and socials.  Mrs. Betsy Moore is the club sponsor.
