Although, I am originally from Oklahoma, I grew up in San Antonio where I attended middle and high school.  From San Antonio, I moved to Austin, Texas where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Texas. After graduating from the University of Texas, I married and moved to Mexico, where I lived for many years. Both of my daughters were born in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico. Eventually I moved back to Oklahoma and began to teach Spanish at Summit. I earned my masters degree at the University of Central Oklahoma, where I am an adjunct professor of Spanish as well.  I love to speak Spanish, dance, ski, (water & snow) travel, do yoga & most of all I love to read. I love Harry Potter and the Twilight series, mysteries and Hispanic literature.

I am looking forward to an exciting year of learning and success with you.
