Dear Cheyenne Families,
Welcome to Cheyenne Middle School; home of the Mustangs. I have the great fortune of leading this school and my staff and I am excited to work with you as a partner in education to ensure your child’s success.
Here at Cheyenne, we work to support the academic, social, and emotional growth of your child. Our Vision is to promote active citizenship, career focus, and college readiness. We are able to focus on these practices through our advisory program each day through lessons encouraging healthy relationships, character education, recognizing our fine arts, athletics, and other programs, encouraging participation in our associations and clubs, as well as creating opportunities for students to engage in career lessons. Our academic programs provide advancement opportunities and high school credit. These courses include advanced mathematics in all grade levels, advanced English and Spanish I for 8th graders.
Along with supporting their academic success, we vow to build strong relationships with your student and provide them with a sense of belonging. At Cheyenne, everyone is a part of the family.
