🎉 Congrats to Our Chill & Spill Champ! 🎉
Big shoutout to 6th grader Bailey Gregory for snagging the top spot in the Chill & Spill: Winter Reads in 10 Words or Less Library Challenge! 🏆📚
Here’s how it went down: Students hit up the Cheyenne Media Center, picked out a fresh-to-them book, and tackled the Winter Book Challenge—summing up their read in just 10 words or less. Between December 1 and January 16, Bailey brought the heat with her creative spark and walked away as the grand prize winner of the Starbucks gift card.
👏 Let’s give it up for Bailey and everyone who joined in on the bookish fun! Keep those pages turning, Mustangs! 📖✨

Every February, the Edmond TSA Advisors host a Technology Student Association Competition where all the TSA chapters from across the state attend. Last year, we had almost 400 students.
We would like to recruit industry experts to judge these events. This would provide valuable feedback to our students.
This year the Edmond TSA Conference is at Edmond Santa Fe High School (1901 W 15th Street, Edmond) on February 8, 2025. Check-in for judges will begin at 8:00 am in the Freshman Academy lobby, Judges will be provided with all the materials needed to judge their event the week before the competition and can leave when their event is completed. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
Please click HERE to sign up to be a judge or copy/paste the following link into a browser: https://forms.gle/pS1FQoVAA3ctmx2CA.
Thank you in advance for your consideration and involvement.

Because of continued snowfall and roads freezing overnight, all Edmond Public Schools will move to remote learning for Friday, January 10th. Students should refer to information sent by their school site for assignments that will need to be completed for attendance to be counted.

The TSA meeting after school is canceled for today. Students, please make sure you let your ride know.

Because of today’s snowfall, all EPS evening activities for Thursday, January 9th are canceled. This includes all rehearsals, athletic events and practices.

Mrs. Wildman put her Family and Consumer Science students’ teamwork skills to the test with a fun challenge: build a cup pyramid using just one rubber band and a few one-foot pieces of yarn. No hands on the cups—just creativity, communication, and collaboration. It was all about problem-solving and working together to make it happen!

Attention TSA Students! Please come by Mr. Kennedy's room, 402, and pick up a permission slip for the Broken Arrow mini conference. These permission slips need to be returned by January 9th, so please pick them up asap. Please see Mr. Kennedy or Ms. Davis for a list of events that will held at the mini conference.

Today, the 8th-grade orchestra had the honor of welcoming Mr. Jeffrey Grogan, Professor of Music and conductor at Oklahoma City University, to Cheyenne for a special clinic. He worked with the students to refine the pieces they are preparing for their upcoming performance at the Oklahoma Music Educators Association conference in Tulsa. Mr. Grogan shared valuable insights and techniques to help elevate their performance to the next level.
Thank you, Mr. Grogan, for dedicating your time and expertise to inspire and guide our students!
