Cheyenne Spotlight "A Night to Shine" tickets are on sale via the Hometown Fan App. Join us Friday at 7pm and/or Saturday at 2 pm. Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults.


It is Red Ribbon Week! This year's theme is "Life is a Movie; Film Drug Free!" Show your spirit and say no to drugs! This week we'll have a door decorating contest between advisories. There will be three winning advisory classes, and yes, you get a prize for best door!
Also, Cheyenne student and staff can dress up Wednesday - Friday.
Wed., Oct. 23: "Sleep In, Drugs Out!" - Pajama Day.
Thurs., Oct. 24: "Have Some Character, Say No To Drugs!" - Dress as your favorite celebrity or movie/tv show/book character.
Fri., Oct. 25: "Swap Your Style, Not Your Mindset" - Teachers dress as students and students dress as teachers!
Remember to keep all outfits school appropriate and follow the dress code!


Support your school and avid readers in your family by visiting the book fair October 22 – 28th in the Cheyenne Media Center. The book fair is open from 8:10 – 2:15 PM on Tuesday – Friday (closed over the weekend), and 8:10 – noon on Monday. Students will have an opportunity to come to the book fair with their 6th/7th-grade Literacy class or 8th-grade English class throughout the week. Cash and checks (made payable to Cheyenne Middle School) are accepted. A portion of every purchase earns rewards for the Cheyenne library. Thank you for supporting our library!

Congratulations 6th-grade science teacher, Heather Thornton, for becoming Cheyenne's 2024-2025 Teacher of the Year!



Basketball tryouts will start on October 28 - October 30 from 2:30 PM - 4:00 PM in the Cheyenne Middle School gyms. Please sign up ahead of time using the QR code found on the posters in the 7th and 8th grade pods. Make sure physicals and Rank One forms are all completed and turned in online or in the front office.


On Saturday, Cheyenne orchestra students competed in the North Central Honors Orchestra Auditions at Santa Fe High School. Cheyenne had 12 students accepted into the orchestra! 7th grade students accepted were: Morgan Benson, Matthew Coutino, Amalia Cozyris, Ivan Fu, Kashton Green, Cayden Ililau Hodges, Matthew Patton, Matthew Perez, Avie Walser and Olivia Yoon. 8th grade students accepted were: June Frost and Kiera Chao. Congratulations to all who auditioned and accepted!

Stampede of Giving week is essentially a check-writing campaign in lieu of selling items. Parents, we need your help!! You can purchase a $20 wristband for your child that will get them a treat each afternoon and two raffle tickets for some amazing prizes!!

Cheyenne's Chick-Fil-A night is coming up on Oct 8th from 5:30 - 7:30 PM. The Chick-Fil-A is located at 2nd and Bryant. Please tell a team member that you are with Cheyenne Middle School and 20% of mentioned sales will be donated accordingly.


Want a treat and your name on the "Socktober Wall of Fame" in the Commons? Then join FCCLA in the "Socktober" sock drive benefiting children living in foster care. Bring NEW socks to Mrs. Wildman in the FCS room during the month of October and get a treat and your name on the "Socktober Wall of Fame." Our goal is 300 pairs of new socks! Be a part of this FCCLA Community Service project and have a positive impact on the lives of children living in foster care. See Mrs. Wildman for more information.


Student Council went to the HOPE Center on Saturday, Sept. 21st. The students worked to prepare food for pickup, as well as, sorted donations of clothes, toys, and other supplies. Serving the community is an important part of the Cheyenne Student Council mission.





TSA Participated in TSA Riversport Day!
We had two teams enter the cardboard canoe challenge. Each team built a canoe out of cardboard and duct tape. We did have a successful canoe team float!
