Bill Clinton, custodian at EPSAC, was nominated for BELONGING. Mr. Bill always greets everyone he encounters with a smile on his face and joy in his heart. He makes everyone feel welcome and always takes the time to acknowledge every person he sees. He is always willing to provide a helping hand and goes above and beyond to assist those in need. When it is snowing or icey, Bill has been known to go out in the parking lot and scrape everyone’s windows before they leave for the evening. Bill is always giving. He leaves little gifts on peoples desks from candy, to flavored drinks, to flowers. If there is something special on your desk, you know Bill has been there.
Lisa Keck, Resource Teacher at Sunset, was nominated for COLLABORATION. Mrs. Keck coordinates seamlessly with classroom teachers, speech pathologists and parents through her dedication to a collaborative approach, ensuring that each student’s goals and Individualized Education Program (IEP) remain current and effective. Moreover, Mrs. Keck’s advocacy for her students extends beyond the classroom, as she actively cultivates meaningful partnerships and relationships with families, making them feel integral to their children’s educational journey. Her caring, knowledgeable, and supportive demeanor has enabled students to make remarkable progress.
