Dana Elkins, Executive Assistant - Elementary Education, was nominated for INTEGRITY. Dana consistently goes out of her way to make everyone’s job easier and is a joy to work with. She is on top of everything that comes her way. She brings such a warm, welcoming energy to the building, and she is hilarious!

Annawake Grubbs, Bright Beginnings Director, was nominated for HOPE. Annawake brings a steady sense of hope and direction to a field that can often feel overwhelming. She sets high expectations for safety and culture, creating an environment where staff take pride in their work and children receive strong foundational care. Through open communication and genuine empathy, she’s built a true sense of community where families feel connected and supported. She leads with both high standards and heart, showing that the two go hand in hand in a thriving Bright Beginnings community.

Mackenzie Coleman, Sequoyah Teacher, was nominated for BELONGING. Ms. Coleman's commitment to belonging is rooted in a genuine, palpable care that defines every interaction she has with her students. Mackenzie’s classroom culture is built on the foundation of radical inclusivity, where every child feels seen, valued, and safe to take risks. You can see the impact of her work in the way her students carry themselves. There is a visible sense of ease and belonging that stems directly from her steady, positive influence. She is a champion for the individual, a builder of community, and the personification of what it means to ensure every student has a place to call home at Sequoyah. She is a valued member of the SEQ staff and we are grateful we get to work with her each day!

Carla McClurkin, Kathleen Price, Johnnie Campbell, Print Shop, were nominated for INTEGRITY. These three make sure that the jobs that they work on are PERFECT! They spend extra time on their projects to make sure that what goes in, comes out to be something that they themselves are proud of. If there is even the slightest concern for the look of a project, they stop the process and reach out in hopes to help better the outcome. They work hard each day and take pride in their positions. They take full responsibility if for some reason a job falls short on the expectations of our customers. They work together as a team and conquer all sorts of printing challenges. THEY ARE A GREAT TEAM TO WORK WITH!
