core value award winners

It is our very last Core Values Day for the 2025-26 school year! We are SO honored to recognze these stand-outs as our May Core Value Award Winners!

Stephanie Wimer, Behavior Coach at Summit, was nominated for BELONGING. Mrs Wimer consistently displays belief in belonging for our staff and students and is driven by a strong desire to identify ways of reinforcing behavioral goals by celebrating positive aspects of student behavior. All of the processes she has helped put in place take organization, time and effort but they are invaluable when promoting a school environment of belonging and celebration.

Jeanne Ksiazak, 1st Grade Teacher at Scissortail, was nominated for BELONGING. Mrs. Ksiazak works to ensure each child feels safe, connected, and included in her class. She goes above and beyond by providing many strategies/opportunities for regulation with her and within the classroom, helping to show her students that her classroom is safe.

Maricela Bocanegra, Head Custodian at Sunset, was nominated for COLLABORATION. Maricela has had construction in her building the last 2 summers. She left her site both summers to help other crews and the outcome at both sites were phenomenal. Her willingness to help in any way possible is amazing.
