Esther Del Rio, Facilities Manager, Cimarron Middle School, who was nominated for HOPE. Mrs. Del Rio is always positive and has a smile on her face, no matter the circumstance. She takes her job very seriously and is diligent in helping anyone who needs it, including serving as a translator often for families in the office. No matter the trials she faces, personal or professional, she is steadfast in being hopeful no matter the circumstance. She is the heart of Panther Nation!
Erin Kingrey, School Secretary, Russell Dougherty Elementary, was nominated for COLLABORATION. There is nothing more challenging than starting a new job in a school where the office has to be completely unpacked and organized due to summer maintenance and now has completely new office staff, including the principal. Mrs. Kingrey's ability to collaborate with secretaries throughout the district to make sure the job is done correctly, and her commitment to collaborate with all staff members at RD to assure them they will have everything they need to complete their job is consistent. All while maintaining a positive attitude and setting the example of what collaboration looks like at RD.
Anthony Risi, Technical Director, Memorial High School, was nominated for COLLABORATION. Anthony has helped bring several district events to life with his talents. Most recently, he played an integral role during Convocation setting up and running our audio during the program. Anthony's can do attitude and ability to troubleshoot and problem solve has ensured Convocation went off without a hitch the past couple years!
Deborah Fish, Transportation Dispatch, was nominated for BELONGING. Ms. Fish is constantly thinking of others and finding ways to make those around her feel appreciated and valued. She truly believes in the power of teamwork, and her actions consistently demonstrate that belief. From buying pizza for the custodial staff to giving heartfelt cards of appreciation to staff members and administrators alike, Deborah continually goes above and beyond to recognize others. She consistently exemplifies the core values of EPS through her kindness, generosity and genuine care for those around her. Deborah’s selfless actions and unwavering commitment to making others feel valued demonstrate an extremely strong character and make her a wonderful example of what it means to be a part of our school community.
