🍎Many of our schools participated in food drives this Thanksgiving season. Charles Haskell Elementary students helped bring in 1,599 items, which provided 75 Thanksgiving meals to families in need!

Today was SuperSAC at Cimarron. Each month, Dr. Grunewald gathers middle or high school students from across the district to get their ideas on how to improve the EPS experience. The Superintendent's Student Advisory Committee gives district administrators a chance to learn more about what's going well and what changes they'd like to see. It's an afternoon everyone looks forward to each month! #EPSleads

On Veterans Day, we join in reflecting on the sacrifices, dedication and heroism of our Veterans. We are so grateful for those in the EPS community who have served our country. Earlier this month, hundreds of EPS student musicians performed a patriotic-themed concert at the 33rd annual All-City Orchestra. We were also thrilled to have the 145th National Guard Army Brass Quintet perform in the lobby as guests entered. The quintet later joined the orchestra for the playing of military branch service songs and an exciting finale of Oklahoma! #EPSleads #VeteransDay

🎓🏆EPS is absolutely thrilled to commemorate the remarkable achievements of our students! Thansi Garikipati from Edmond North and Dylan Adler from Edmond Memorial were honored at our November board meeting for achieving perfect ACT scores. The Edmond North cheer team received well-deserved recognition for their victory at the 6A state cheer competition, while the Edmond North boys and girls cross country teams were celebrated as the 6A state academic champions. Their hard work is a true inspiration to us all! 🌟 #EPSleads

Happy Halloween from EPS! To celebrate, check out this project done by Mrs. Weaver’s 3rd grade class at Cross Timbers. The class did a writing project where the students picked a vocabulary word and thought of a character that would go along with it! They wrote persuasive essays to describe how the character was like the vocabulary word using examples from the movie, book or show their character is from. Then, they painted those characters on pumpkins! Very creative, well done students! 🎃🖌 #EPSleads
